Halloween is back!
After no Halloween last year due to COVID-19 rules, I'm sure we are all looking forward to the scary night this year. Whether you are dressing up for a family party, or you are taking your parents trick-or-treating with you there's so much to do and still stay covid safe!
Pumpkin carving competition

Makeup challenge:
Do you like makeup or SFX makeup? This is for you!! You can do this both in person or over video call, in a hat write different prompts for a makeup look. Then give yourselves a time limit and see what you can create. This is a great one to do together!
Trick-or-treating:
The most famous Halloween activity is trick-or-treating where you dress up in a costume and knock on doors of your neighbours and receive sweets so you won't trick them. This is still a very popular tradition, just remember to stay safe.
Never go trick or treating alone and always take an adult with you.
Don’t knock on the doors of strangers (or look out for signs that trick or treaters are welcome, such as Halloween decorations).
Keep your Halloween ‘tricks’ safe - damage to property or hurting someone is a crime. Threatening and abusive behaviour can amount to an offence too.
Remember road safety rules, particularly after dark.
Wear something bright so that drivers can see you.
If you are planning on hosting your own firework party make sure you tell all your neighbours, especially those with pets who may be affected by the noise.
