‘Embrace Equity’ on Wednesday 8th March

Celebrate International Women’s Day this Wednesday by giving yourself a hug.

The aim of the IWD 2023 #EmbraceEquity campaign theme is to get the world talking about Why equal opportunities aren't enough. People start from different places, so true inclusion and belonging require equitable action.

‘Equity’ is different to ‘equality’. Equality gives everyone the same regardless of what they already have. Equity realises each situation is different. Equity may mean giving different things to get an equal outcome.
