The event took place at M&S Bank Arena and the Pullman Hotel, situated near the Albert Dock.

There were two areas set out in the event. The red area, which was the M&S Bank arena, and the blue area, which was the Pullman Hotel, both filled with friendly and helpful staff who wanted their guests to have fun and enjoy.

If people wanted to find a specific place they wanted to attend, across all areas there were panels which lit up the map information for both areas on where to find specific activities, such as the boardgame rooms like D&D could be found on the 2nd floor in the event.

These panels also showed the important times for fan meetups to see their favourite celebrity. It was great organisation of the organisers which made everyone not only enjoy themselves but feel safe as well, as the queuing to get into the event buildings was put in a neat system.

This was also accompanied with the lovely scene of the river Mersey to get some cool air as they travelled between the two buildings.

The activities that were available were on a grand scale. It made you feel like for everyone, there was something to do. You could go practice Star Wars lightsabre fighting. You could do some bow and arrow shooting to win a prize. You could go visit your favourite voice actor or actor of your favourite show and get autographs!

Not only that, a photobooth was available to take pictures with your favourite actors so the atmosphere was exciting as people lined up to see their idols. You could visit talk shows and asks questions about the movie or actor, for films like ‘Sharknado’.

In the blue zone, there were shopping stalls, heaven for fans of all sorts to get their merchandise of their favourite story. Leo and Catherine saw Harry Potter gadgets, mystery bag stalls, an armoury stalls (some with real metallic weapons!), food stalls, small clothing brands, and so much more! You could also play all the old videogames, located on the Terrace, which consoles of all ages sat there, eagerly waiting to be played with. The two reporters found themselves enjoying the old Sonic games, battling one another to try and be victorious.

Most importantly, regardless of who you are, guests came in all shapes and sizes, welcomed by everyone. The old and young had fun, sometimes with each other as fans were able to come together to talk about their favourite show.

The cosplayers dressed up as their favourite characters, which allowed for people to show what they were interested, also able to meet up with cosplayers in the Cosplay Meetup room in the red zone.

Families were welcome, as prams with young infants smiled curiously at the bustling room, with people filling up the queuing lines. Even those guests with disabilities were really well supported and catered for to ensure that everything was accessible for them, which highlights once again the amazing work of the staff to make everything accessible to everyone.
