We are very excited to share a report about a Wirral girl brushing shoulders with the stars as she builds her acting portfolio. Here at Zillo we want to share an article written by Chloe Nightingale for The Wirral Globe about Lucia Alieu and send her our support.
You may recognise Lucia as Maisy Wheatley in Coronation Street which launched her acting career in 2022. Her new projects include ‘Hijack’ a new series starting this week on Apple TV starring and produced by Idris Elba, and a new film called ‘Role Play’ which will be launched later in the year.
Lucia is fully supported by her parents who are quoted in the Globe article as saying "We are incredibly proud of Lucia and her astounding achievements to date. Lucia has always been a huge bundle of energy with pure enthusiasm for life, lighting up every room along her way; as parents, she inspires us every day.”
Lucia who attends a Wirral primary school is tutored on set whilst filming, most recently travelling between Berlin and London to work on both of her acting projects.
