The Overcoat, Streaming Live from Cafe Create

the overcoat performance promo

On Thursday 7th April, Oliver Thomas performs 'The Overcoat' Live from Pilgrim Street Arts Centre and Cafe Create.

The Overcoat is a 50-minute one-man performance and workshop, currently touring formal and informal education settings, asking the question: how do we find belonging in the world today?

The performance will explore themes of isolation, belonging, self-esteem and peer pressure.

The performance is aimed at young people from years 6 - 9 and will be streamed live with the recording available after the event.

Oliver is making the event available to all Wirral Young people.

“This is a really exciting opportunity for young people in Wirral to explore some challenging ideas. It raises questions and plants a seed for young people to think more about their sense of self in the modern world”

The post-performance virtual Q + A will allow young people to further delve into these issues and to see how they may manifest in their own lives and how best they may be navigated.

Show starts 11am April 7th 2022 on ZILLO TV
