Youth In Focus: Freedom Dance Champions

Wirral’s very own Freedom Dance Studios named 'Elite Champions' for the second year running.

As part of our new campaign celebrating Wirral Young People called ‘Youth In Focus’ we would like to share our second exciting news story of the week. We want to increase awareness of Wirral’s amazing young people by sharing articles that have been written in the wider press.

Today we highlight these amazing dancers - featured in an article by Chloe Nightingale for The Wirral Globe (read the original article here).

The group, which was founded by Kirsty Murphy, from Wallasey in 2016, is made up of dancers aged five to 18. Kirsty who is now aged 28 wants to bring elite but affordable dance training and opportunities to the Wirral community.

At the dance competition in Blackpool earlier this month they won an impressive 103 trophies and medals making them the champions.
