Exciting plans for the future of Birkenhead have been given the go ahead by Wirral Council.

As part of a huge regeneration project for Wirral, Peel L&P’s Greenway project will create a stunning new public walkway connecting Birkenhead to the Wirral Waters project in Seacombe.

The Greenway will be completely separated from the road and will be a oasis for nature to develop incorporating tree and a wildflower meadow.

The project aims to make Wirral Waters the most cyclist and pedestrian development in the UK.

The Greenway project will make traveling between Birkenhead and the Wirral Waters project safer for young people as well as creating a beautiful natural addition to the area.
