Be A Market Trader
Teenage Market Comes To Liscard in July
The market used to be the bustling heart of every town, now we all shop online but is there a market revival?
Market stalls today sell everything from crocheted Pokémon to vintage vinyl records. Throw in a vegan burger and a soya milkshake and it's the perfect day out. On Saturday 22nd July at the Cherry Tree Shopping Centre there will be a 'Teenage Market'. A marketplace for you to sell the stuff you have made.
The Teenage Market helps young people aged 16-29 all over the country to be part of the heart of their community.
Having a free stall at the teen market is the perfect opportunity to sell your product, meet other creative young people and have fun. By having a stall you can make a difference to your local community, be an entrepreneur, earn cash and have fun.
And it won't only be market stalls. You can also showcase your amazing creative talents. The Teenage Market wants young bands, musicians, and dancers to perform at the event. This makes it more of a fun day, and increases sales with family and friends coming to watch the performers.
Buying local and supporting YOU, the young people of Wirral, we are building a strong community.
How to get involved. Visit the ‘Traders and Performers’ sections of the Teen Market Website to register and create yourself a profile about who you are and what you do. Once you have created your profile, you can then apply to take part. Groups as well as individuals can apply so get creating.
Traders who are 16 or 17 need to be supervised by a responsible adult for the duration of the market.
