Soundseekers: Hope

Hi, my name is Hope and I am 14 years old. I love music and wanted to tell you my favourites.

These are some of my favourite songs.

Lana del Rey – “Dealer”

I think the lyrics are really nice. It’s quite slow at the start and it takes a bit of time to build up but it’s worth waiting for. I love Lana del Rey for lots of reasons, she has a brilliant voice and it can change to fit in with different sounds and moods, like soft and then grungy and loud. She writes all the lyrics, she’s clever and pretty too.

Lil’ Peep – “Nuts”

This song is mine and my best friend Ella’s song. When we listen to it we sing it together really loud, it always reminds me of laughing and having a good time and how important my friends are to me.

Ellie Goulding – “My Blood”

This song is quite old but I still really like it. It makes me think of the people in my life and especially my friend Courtney.

Little Mix - “Love Me or Leave me”

I love Little Mix and this song makes me think about the time I went to see them in concert when I was 9 years old.
