Wirral Book Festival this June

The Wirral Book Festival on the 5th of June from 11am-5pm has something for tots to teens with talks and workshops at the Bloom Building, Birkenhead, by 6 amazing kids and young adult authors!

 

🌈Explore story time workshops with ‘Fantastic Frankie’ at 11am (this is the only workshop aimed at under 7)

🌊Dive into themes of hope, connection, and empathy with Julian Sedgewick’s manga-inspired “Tsunami Girl”. (11+)

📘Anecdotes, exclusive insights, and props will all feature in Vashti Hardy’s and James Nichols’ best-selling authors' talk from the authors of “Apprentice Witch” and “Brightstorm". (7+)

✨Follow an inspiring autistic protagonist’s magical journey with Emily Kenny’s “The Incredible Adventures of Alice Tonks.” (7+)

🩸Create your own crime fiction, learning how to build tension with Cynthia Murphy, author of “The Last One to Die” in a masterclass aimed at those thirteen and older. (13+)
