We are excited to announce Zillo Youth Awards 2025! This special event, run by ZILLO Young Reporters, is all about celebrating the incredible things young people do in Wirral every day.

The awards are a chance to say a big “well done” to young people who work hard, show their talents, help others, or make a difference in their community. Whether it’s something big or small, we want to celebrate it all!

You can get involved by nominating someone you know or even by even nominating yourself. Even if you don’t win, your nomination is still super important. Every young person who is nominated will get a special Zillo Youth Award Certificate to show how much they are appreciated.

We know young people do so many things that often get missed, and this is a chance to celebrate the everyday ways they make life better for the people around them.

ZILLO Youth Awards will take place on March 19, 2025, at the Floral Pavilion, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Let’s make this an event to remember, because every young person matters, and every achievement is worth celebrating!

Planet Protector

For someone who goes all out to save the planet! Whether they recycle, plant trees, clean up parks, or inspire others to go green—this award celebrates eco-heroes making a difference for our Earth.

Community Star

For the young person who shines in their community. Maybe they help neighbours, volunteer with local groups, or support community events. If they’re making life better for others, nominate them for this award!

Animal Ally

For those who show amazing care and love for animals. Whether it’s helping at shelters, looking after pets, raising money for wildlife, or simply being a champion for furry (or scaly!) friends, this award is for them.

Creative Spark

For someone bursting with creativity! Whether it’s writing stories, building incredible designs, creating art, photography, or gaming projects, this award celebrates their unique skills and talents.

Flourish Award

For someone who’s taken on challenges with mental health or helps others learn about wellbeing. This award celebrates those who inspire others to grow, speak up, and show the importance of looking after mental health.

Courage Champion

For someone who has shown amazing bravery. Maybe they faced a fear, helped someone in need, or stayed strong through tough times. Big or small, their courage makes a difference.

Change Maker

For those who never stop fighting for a cause. Whether it’s saving wildlife, helping their community, or raising awareness about important issues, this award celebrates their passion for making the world better.

Kindness Champion

For someone who spreads kindness wherever they go. They’re the friend who’s always there for you, the helper who lifts others up, or the person who makes everyone smile with their care and compassion.

Sports Hero

For someone who stands out in sports. Whether they’re a top athlete, always give 100%, or inspire others to join in, this award celebrates their dedication and love for sports.

Above and Beyond Award

For young people who go above and beyond to care for others. Whether they help at home, support their family, or step up when others need them, this award is for the unsung heroes who make life better for those around them.
