Halloween is fast approaching, and if you're in Wirral, you're in for a spooktacular time! This October, the peninsula has a lineup of events that will send shivers down your spine and put a wicked smile on your face.

From family-friendly festivals to ghastly galas, Wirral has something for everyone to enjoy this Halloween season. We've compiled a list of thrilling events happening throughout the area, so grab your broomstick or ghostly cloak and get ready for some eerie entertainment.

1. Church Farm Family Fright Festival

Date: September 30 to October 29

Location: Church Farm, Thurstaston

Price: Tickets start at £7

Kicking off the Halloween season, Church Farm in Thurstaston presents its Family Fright Festival. This event offers a spooky extravaganza for families to enjoy. Tickets are available for full-day experiences, half-day passes, and family packages. As you explore the farm, you'll encounter a pumpkin patch, barrel train rides, and your favorite farm animals. For an extra challenge, don't forget to try the skull search activity pack for just £3.95, filled with puzzles and clues that lead you on a haunting adventure. 2. Moonlight Flicks at Claremont Farm

Date: October 27-28

Location: Claremont Farm, Bebington

For a different kind of Halloween thrill, head to Claremont Farm in Bebington. They're setting up a big screen to showcase a season of four Halloween film favorites. The spooky lineup includes ParaNorman and Beetlejuice on October 27 and Hocus Pocus and 28 Days Later on October 28. 3. Wirral Joint Services Haunted Event

Date: Saturday, October 28

Location: (Insert Location)

Price: £2 per child

Wirral Joint Services invites you to their haunted event, a spooky celebration for all ages. Enjoy ghoulish treats like ghostly burgers, witches' finger hot dogs, and wacky potions. There's an SEN session running from 3 pm to 4 pm for just £2 per child. Another event will take place from 5 pm to 8 pm, also priced at £2 per child. 4. ParentFolk Spooky Social

Date: Sunday, October 29

Location: The Mouse at Brimstage

On October 29, ParentFolk brings the Spooky Social to Wirral for a Halloween bash like no other. You can choose between a morning event from 10:30 am to 1 pm or an afternoon session from 2 pm to 4:30 pm at The Mouse at Brimstage. Tickets include live entertainment, pop-up Halloween craft workshops, and storytelling welly walks for the little ones. Gautby Road Place Scheme

It’s a free scheme for young people aged 6-14. The sessions we have run during term time after school 3.30pm - 7pm. 

Were open Saturdays 10-12.30 & 1.30-3.30pm. Through school holidays we have two sessions per day:

First sessions 10-12.30

Second sessions 1.30-3.30pm

Free hot meals are provided during each session, however there is also a tuck shop on site for young people should they wish to purchase anything. 

For young people to attend they don’t need to book, they just need to fill in a registration form upon arrival. Once that’s complete they’re free to come and go as they please. We are an open access setting.
