Wirral Youth Market Brings Big Talent to Birkenhead!
The Wirral Youth Market was back – and this time, it took over the covered outdoor area at Birkenhead Market with an incredible showcase of creativity, business skills, and amazing entertainment!
Young entrepreneurs set up 41 awesome stalls, selling everything from handmade jewelry and cool 3D-printed figures to stylish sportswear, pet products, and delicious homemade cakes. Shoppers had plenty to explore while soaking up the fun vibes, thanks to a packed lineup of young performers keeping everyone entertained.
There was even a live Art Jam, where talented artists created giant murals right in front of everyone’s eyes – turning Birkenhead Market into a live artwork display!
A Day Full of Inspiration
Cllr Paul Stuart, Leader of Wirral Council, was super impressed, saying:
“This was another brilliant event showcasing the skills and innovation of our talented young people who we can all be proud of.”
Many of the young traders shared how much they loved being part of the market:
✨ “It’s been amazing! I’ve met loads of lovely people and made lots of sales.”
✨ “I was nervous at first, but it’s been so good!”
✨ “If you have an idea and a passion – just go for it!”
Not only was the event packed with cool stalls and great products, but there was also music, entertainment, graffiti workshops, and stunning performances—including a show-stopping dance by Ukrainian group Radist.
