Youth In Focus: Medal Winning Wallesey Ice Skater

Liza loves her ice-skates!

On Tuesday July 11th Liza Dawson from Wallasey competed at the British Solo Ice Dance Championships in the Basic Novice category. Liza now aged 12 has been skating since she was only 6 years old! Zillo would like to say a massive congratulations to Liza for getting SILVER in the competition.

As reported in the Wirral Globe by Chloe Nightingale Liza competed in her first competition at beginner level, and since she has competed in competitions in Aberdeen, Sheffield and Blackburn to qualify for the top 25 skaters who were given the opportunity to compete in the British Championships.

Congratulations to Liza from everyone here at team Zillo - we are looking forward to seeing more of your you as your skills just get better and better!
